Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use SEYA Tax Notice Advisors, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep this deliberately plain, because the documents you share with us are sensitive and you deserve to know exactly how they are handled.
Who we are
SEYA Tax Notice Advisors is operated by [Registered entity name], a firm of Chartered Accountants and Advocates with its registered office in Hyderabad, India. For any question about this policy or your data, you can reach us at info@criag.co.in. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that entity, and “you” refers to the person using the site or engaging our services.
What information we collect
- Contact details you submit, such as your name, email address, and phone number.
- The tax notice and any supporting documents you upload so that we can review your matter.
- Basic usage data, such as the pages you view, collected to keep the site working and secure.
How we use your information
We use your information only to review your notice, advise you on it, draft and file the response, and contact you about your matter. We do not use it for anything else.
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent and the performance of our engagement with you, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You give consent when you submit your details or upload a document, and you can withdraw it at any time (see Your rights below).
How we handle your documents
Your notice and supporting documents are encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the Chartered Accountant and Advocate assigned to your matter, and to the staff who directly support them.
Your documents are deleted [X days] after your matter is closed, and they are never used to train any model. We hold them only for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal and professional record-keeping obligations.
Sharing and disclosure
We never sell your data. We share it only in limited, necessary ways: with the sub-processors that help us run the service, such as our secure hosting provider, and where we are legally required to disclose it, for example under a valid order from a court or authority. Our sub-processors are bound to use your data solely to provide their service to us.
Your rights
Under the applicable law, you can ask us to give you access to the data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, erase it, or withdraw a consent you gave earlier. To make any of these requests, email us at info@criag.co.in and we will respond within the timelines the law allows. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies, the ones the site needs to function and stay secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Grievance officer
If you have a concern about how your data is handled and you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact our Grievance Officer, [Name], at [grievance email] or [phone]. We take such concerns seriously and will work to resolve them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when the law changes or when we improve the service. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Please check this page occasionally so you stay informed.
